Medical Qigong Master (MQM) | 1000 hours
The Qigong Master training is divided into five progressive courses that are scheduled over the course of the year (typically March—November).
Each individual course has an online and in-person component. The five core courses are:

M4 | Qigong For Spiritual Disorders

Additional requirements for MQM Certification:
150hr Clinical Externship*
50hr TCM Theory II For Medical Qigong**
CPR / BLS For Healthcare Professionals***
*Hours logged outside of classroom as guided independent study.
**Available as an additional online course (not included in program tuition).
***Current Basic Life Support and CPR training from a certified agency and/or professional medical health licensure is required to be certified as a Medical Qigong Practitioner. Fees associated to this external requirement are not included in tuition costs.

A single cohort begins each academic year (Spring to Autumn).
Online courses generally begin two weeks prior to the first in-person weekend intensive. Continuing online classes are scheduled on a consistent day and time between in-person weekends.

Designed for the practicing healthcare professional, our Medical Qigong Certification training is also available to those who aspire to practice the energetic healing arts—and are ready to take on that responsibility with earnest commitment.
The Medical Qigong Master certification program is for the practitioner seeking true depth and embodiment in their practice. The rigor of this level of study provides immeasurable opportunity for both personal development and clinical excellence.
The 600 hour Advanced Medical Qigong Practitioner certification training courses are considered prerequisite for this training.
Students entering the training without medical backgrounds or other healthcare licensure will likely need to take the additional adjunct courses listed in the “Program Overview” above. These can be taken concurrently with the MQM core curriculum courses and are not required for admission into the program.

Online training sessions are 2 ½ hours in duration and follow a set once-a-week schedule for ease of planning. Students can attend from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. However, we do expect our students to treat the virtual classroom with the same respect as an in-person classroom. Online sessions are recorded (see Online Access above) for student review and study.
In-person trainings are conducted as intensives and students should plan for an 8:00am — 6:00pm daily commitment (daily schedules may be fluid, and will include appropriate breaks, etc.).
All in person training is held in Carbondale, Colorado USA.

40hr. NCCAOM PDA / CEU
The first course of the Masters program delves deep into Daoist influences of internal and external alchemical process as they pertain to the theory and practice of Chinese Medicine.
Through the tangible, subtle, and sublime interactions of the natural elements, celestial bodies, and other observable influences on the energetic structures of the body, esoteric understanding is explored in relationship to health and healing.
Advanced cultivation and meditation techniques are discussed and applied to the existing body of knowledge available to the students of this level.

40hr. NCCAOM PDA / CEU
Through exploration into the physiological phenomena inherent within the system of Chinese Energetic Medicine, a significantly deeper understanding of the body as microcosm of the macrocosm is defined.
In addition to advanced training in enhanced intuitive skills, students explore topics that include prenatal and postnatal patterning, cellular vibration, advanced work with vital substances, energetic fields, the five principle energies, zàngfǔ [脏腑], and applied jīngluò [经络] theory.

40hr. NCCAOM PDA / CEU
This course prepares students for working with individuals diagnosed with severe and chronic illness. Specific attention is given to individuals that have been diagnosed with varying forms of cancer. Topics also include discussion of the Medical Qigong approaches to working with surgical patients, individuals undergoing organ transplants, amputations, and protocols for dealing with scar tissue.

The fourth seminar module of the Masters program investigates and prepares students for working directly within the formless elements of Medical Qigong therapy and practice. proper procedures for clinical safety as well as applicable skill sets for working with various spiritual disorders are taught. Topics include entities, physic attacks, death and dying, as well as oppression and possession of spirit (神 shén disorders).

Culmination of the Masters level, this course includes written and practical proficiency examinations, clinical theater, and supervised clinical components. Students receive direct feedback working within the classroom and with actual patients to achieve the skills and confidence necessary to successfully establish a clinical practice.
